Junk removal requests in Youngtown

Pickup availability in Youngtown needs confirmation. Send your exact address, the items to remove and whether they are outside or need carrying out. We’ll review the location, access and route before arranging a pickup. The local collection guidance below can help you compare your options.

Planning a furniture pickup or cleanout

Tell us about furniture, mattresses, household appliances, garage contents, storage or move-out cleanouts. For rental or business contents, identify the spaces to clear and the person authorized to approve removal.

Already outside? Curbside pickup

Group the agreed items outside at a safe loading point with suitable truck access. Describe any gates, long carrying distance or heavy items.

Still inside? Full service

Leave items in place for carry-out, loading and hauling. Show us the removal path, including stairs, elevators and narrow turns.

Which removal option fits?

Your city or trash provider may fit when your account and items qualify, you can prepare the required setout, and its collection schedule works for you.

Ask PVJR about private removal for items still inside, a mixed cleanout or a property handoff that needs coordination. Share your deadline so we can check availability.

City and provider rules apply to their programs. PVJR’s material and access requirements are separate: an item excluded by the city is not automatically accepted by PVJR.

Periodic bulk is separate from weekly barrels

Youngtown identifies Parks & Sons as its residential refuse, recycling and periodic bulk provider. Bulky-item arrangements are handled with the provider at 623-974-4791. An unwanted sofa or a garage full of contents is not part of the weekly barrel collection.

Ordinary refuse, including grass clippings and yard waste, must be bagged and secured. The provider excludes construction debris, dirt, rocks, concrete and sod from regular containers, so a landscaping or remodeling cleanup needs a separate material plan.[1][2]

Agua Fria Ranches has separate service instructions

Parks & Sons’ Youngtown service page directs Agua Fria Ranches residents to its own neighborhood information. Use the full address and community name when arranging collection; the general Youngtown listing does not establish that neighborhood’s bulk date or placement spot.

For a private request, list furniture, appliances and yard material separately. Note utility-connected items, any gate or steps, and a loading position that leaves shared access open. State who can approve the contents list before loading begins.[3]

Oil paint and dried latex need different handling

Youngtown identifies oil-based paint as household hazardous waste requiring an HHW disposal site. Its reuse advice is to use suitable leftover paint or pass it to someone who can use it. Only transfer usable paint with the recipient’s agreement.

The town also discusses empty or completely dried cans, while the provider lists paint among prohibited container materials. Confirm completely dried latex with the actual provider before using the trash route. Liquid oil paint, solvents and an unidentified coating should not be treated as ordinary dried latex.[4][2]

Resident paint guidance explains a separate disposal route; it does not establish PVJR paint acceptance or pickup availability.

What to include in your request

  • The complete address and item list, with belongings to keep clearly identified.
  • Where the items are and the route to the loading point.
  • Any access window, property deadline and authorized contact.

Photos are optional to start. We may ask for them or more detail to assess the job.

Items that need separate review

Connected appliances, heavy materials and unusual items need individual review. Removal does not include utility disconnection, demolition, repairs or property cleaning. Hazardous and biohazardous materials are not accepted.
