Junk removal in Peoria
Need furniture removed, garage contents cleared or help with a move-out in Peoria? Tell us what needs to go and whether it is outside or needs carrying out. Share your address and any deadline so we can plan the request.

Furniture pickups and cleanouts
Tell us about furniture, mattresses, household appliances, garage contents, storage or move-out cleanouts. For rental or business contents, identify the spaces to clear and the person authorized to approve removal.
Which removal option fits?
Your city or trash provider may fit when your account and items qualify, you can prepare the required setout, and its collection schedule works for you.
Ask PVJR about private removal for items still inside, a mixed cleanout or a property handoff that needs coordination. Share your deadline so we can check availability.
City and provider rules apply to their programs. PVJR’s material and access requirements are separate: an item excluded by the city is not automatically accepted by PVJR.
Request your own Peoria bulk appointment
Peoria’s bulk service is for residents with active City solid-waste accounts. Request collection through the City’s bulk-trash route, email bulktrash@peoriaaz.gov or call 623-773-7890. Wait for your own confirmation before setting out a pile; a neighbor’s collection does not confirm yours. Ask which items and pile size your appointment covers.
Peoria’s published preparation rules call for bulk items parallel to the curb, no earlier than one day before collection, with at least four feet of clearance from mailboxes, utility boxes and other obstructions. Keep the sidewalk clear. Branches must be no longer than three feet and no thicker than three inches. Follow the City’s confirmed instructions for the actual pickup.[1][2][3]
Make a handoff deadline part of the request
If the cleanup is tied to a move, property handoff or scheduled work, give the deadline when asking PVJR for help. Explain whether you can keep the items on the property until a pickup is agreed. Include both the furniture and any separate appliance or project-debris questions.
- Are the items indoors, in a garage or already outside?
- Will gates, stairs or parked vehicles affect the carrying route?
- Can an authorized person identify the items and provide access?
Request a separate household-paint collection
For a home hazardous-waste appointment, contact Peoria Solid Waste at 623-773-7836 or use the City’s HHW request route. Identify whether each can is latex or oil-based, how many gallons remain and whether any containers are leaking. Ask the City to confirm account eligibility, accepted coatings and its next collection window before placing anything outside.
Keep paint thinners, aerosols and other chemicals separate from the furniture pile. Do not assume a household-paint appointment also covers appliances, electronics or commercial waste, or that a household program permits a paid hauler to deliver the material. Share paint details separately if you are also asking PVJR about ordinary junk removal.[4][5]
What to include in your request
- The complete address and item list, with belongings to keep clearly identified.
- Where the items are and the route to the loading point.
- Any access window, property deadline and authorized contact.
Photos are optional to start. We may ask for them or more detail to assess the job.
Items that need separate review
Connected appliances, heavy materials and unusual items need individual review. Removal does not include utility disconnection, demolition, repairs or property cleaning. Hazardous and biohazardous materials are not accepted.
