Junk removal requests in Litchfield Park

Pickup availability in Litchfield Park needs confirmation. Send your exact address, the items to remove and whether they are outside or need carrying out. We’ll review the location, access and route before arranging a pickup. The local collection guidance below can help you compare your options.

Planning a furniture pickup or cleanout

Tell us about furniture, mattresses, household appliances, garage contents, storage or move-out cleanouts. For rental or business contents, identify the spaces to clear and the person authorized to approve removal.

Already outside? Curbside pickup

Group the agreed items outside at a safe loading point with suitable truck access. Describe any gates, long carrying distance or heavy items.

Still inside? Full service

Leave items in place for carry-out, loading and hauling. Show us the removal path, including stairs, elevators and narrow turns.

Which removal option fits?

Your city or trash provider may fit when your account and items qualify, you can prepare the required setout, and its collection schedule works for you.

Ask PVJR about private removal for items still inside, a mixed cleanout or a property handoff that needs coordination. Share your deadline so we can check availability.

City and provider rules apply to their programs. PVJR’s material and access requirements are separate: an item excluded by the city is not automatically accepted by PVJR.

Schedule residential bulk through My WM

Litchfield Park partners with WM for residential refuse and recycling, with residents billed directly by WM. Bulk service is requested through the household’s My WM account. The city’s allowance is six scheduled pickups per year with up to three items each; extra collections or items can carry additional charges.

The regular bulk day is the last Thursday of the month. In November it moves to the Thursday before Thanksgiving. Use the confirmed booking rather than an old storm-cleanup notice when planning a move-out.[1]

Count items and separate special materials

A roomful of contents can exceed the bulk item allowance even if it fits in one pile. Count the individual furniture pieces before requesting service. Paint, solvents, electronics and propane tanks do not belong in the regular carts.

Use the actual property and WM account when checking eligibility; a Litchfield Park mailing address alone does not establish city-arranged service. For private removal, identify utility-connected appliances, gates, stairs and parking restrictions separately from the furniture list.[1]

The paint referral has its own receiving conditions

Litchfield Park’s paint-disposal referral points residents to Glendale Landfill at 11480 W. Glendale Avenue. The landfill lists household paint and stain among its limited hazardous-waste materials and requires liquid containers to be original or clearly marked with their contents.

The landfill excludes household hazardous waste delivered by commercial haulers. A resident referral does not establish free disposal or approval for a paid removal company. Confirm the non-Glendale resident terms and your particular coating before arranging a trip.[2][3]

Resident paint guidance explains a separate disposal route; it does not establish PVJR paint acceptance or pickup availability.

What to include in your request

  • The complete address and item list, with belongings to keep clearly identified.
  • Where the items are and the route to the loading point.
  • Any access window, property deadline and authorized contact.

Photos are optional to start. We may ask for them or more detail to assess the job.

Items that need separate review

Connected appliances, heavy materials and unusual items need individual review. Removal does not include utility disconnection, demolition, repairs or property cleaning. Hazardous and biohazardous materials are not accepted.
