Junk removal requests in Fountain Hills
Pickup availability in Fountain Hills needs confirmation. Send your exact address, the items to remove and whether they are outside or need carrying out. We’ll review the location, access and route before arranging a pickup. The local collection guidance below can help you compare your options.

Planning a furniture pickup or cleanout
Tell us about furniture, mattresses, household appliances, garage contents, storage or move-out cleanouts. For rental or business contents, identify the spaces to clear and the person authorized to approve removal.
Which removal option fits?
Your city or trash provider may fit when your account and items qualify, you can prepare the required setout, and its collection schedule works for you.
Ask PVJR about private removal for items still inside, a mixed cleanout or a property handoff that needs coordination. Share your deadline so we can check availability.
City and provider rules apply to their programs. PVJR’s material and access requirements are separate: an item excluded by the city is not automatically accepted by PVJR.
Use the provider for your collection date
Fountain Hills contracts with Republic Services for residential trash, bulk pickup and recycling. Call 602-237-2078 about furniture or another bulky item, giving the address and item list. The Town’s 2026 residential bulk collection took place in March; ask Republic whether a separate pickup is available and what it would require.
For address-specific service information, Republic’s bulk tool accepts your service address and provides a scheduling route or customer-service contact. Confirm the materials and preparation before setting items out; availability varies by service area.
The Town changes to Universal Waste Systems on February 1, 2027. If your cleanup falls around that date, confirm which company will handle it before arranging a pickup.[1][2]
Explain what needs carrying out
A provider collection and a private carry-out request may involve different preparation. If the items remain indoors or need moving from another part of the property, describe that work when asking PVJR to review the job. Give the actual deadline and wait for address and scheduling confirmation.
- Which pieces need removal, and are any attached or built in?
- Can a truck load near the items, or is there a longer carrying route?
- Does the property manager need to approve access or a loading time?
Town-resident paint event: November 14, 2026
Fountain Hills and Republic Services list a household hazardous-waste event for Town residents on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Fountain Hills High School parking lot, 16100 E. Palisades Boulevard. Old paint, solvents, gasoline, pesticides and household cleaners are among the listed materials.
Before loading paint, call the Town’s event contact at 480-816-5180 to confirm the coating type, quantity, container requirements and residency proof. The event location is the high school, not Town Hall. Ask separately about commercial or paid-hauler deliveries; this resident event does not establish a PVJR paint service.[3]
What to include in your request
- The complete address and item list, with belongings to keep clearly identified.
- Where the items are and the route to the loading point.
- Any access window, property deadline and authorized contact.
Photos are optional to start. We may ask for them or more detail to assess the job.
Items that need separate review
Connected appliances, heavy materials and unusual items need individual review. Removal does not include utility disconnection, demolition, repairs or property cleaning. Hazardous and biohazardous materials are not accepted.
