Furniture pickups and cleanouts
Tell us about furniture, mattresses, household appliances, garage contents, storage or move-out cleanouts. For rental or business contents, identify the spaces to clear and the person authorized to approve removal.
Which removal option fits?
Your city or trash provider may fit when your account and items qualify, you can prepare the required setout, and its collection schedule works for you.
Ask PVJR about private removal for items still inside, a mixed cleanout or a property handoff that needs coordination. Share your deadline so we can check availability.
City and provider rules apply to their programs. PVJR’s material and access requirements are separate: an item excluded by the city is not automatically accepted by PVJR.
Reserve bulk collection before placing items outside
Chandler solid-waste customers can request bulk collection online or call 480-782-3510. Provide the complete material list when booking: the City assigns different collection trucks according to the items reported. Wait for the confirmed date, including the confirmation email, before staging the load.
For a cleanout with furniture, yard material and appliances, identify each category separately. Describe any items that still need carrying out in your PVJR request, along with the property handoff date.[1][2]
Keep the City setout clear and exclude project debris
Chandler allows bulk setout no more than 24 hours before the scheduled collection. Place it at the front of the property within four feet of the curb or sidewalk. Where access restrictions require normal trash collection from a main road, use that designated collection location without blocking travel.
Food, liquids, hazardous waste, tires, automotive parts, rock, concrete, dirt, sod, tile and construction debris do not belong in this bulk service. Tell us separately about heavy or renovation material so the removal request can be reviewed accurately.[1]
Book a resident appointment for paint disposal
Chandler’s hazardous-waste facility accepts household paint, stains and thinners by appointment. Call 480-782-3510 with the types and quantities. Eligible City solid-waste households and qualifying apartment or multifamily residents must deliver material from their own Chandler address; contractors and people working for residents cannot deliver it. County-island, Sun Lakes and business waste are excluded.
At the appointment, bring photo ID and the Chandler utility bill to 955 E. Queen Creek Road. Label containers, box small items and carry them in the trunk, hatch or truck bed. Paint is limited to 25 gallons measured by container size, with no container over five gallons. Follow staff directions for unloading onto carts. PVJR paint handling is not established by this resident program.[3]
