Junk removal requests in Cave Creek
Pickup availability in Cave Creek needs confirmation. Send your exact address, the items to remove and whether they are outside or need carrying out. We’ll review the location, access and route before arranging a pickup. The local collection guidance below can help you compare your options.

Planning a furniture pickup or cleanout
Tell us about furniture, mattresses, household appliances, garage contents, storage or move-out cleanouts. For rental or business contents, identify the spaces to clear and the person authorized to approve removal.
Which removal option fits?
Your city or trash provider may fit when your account and items qualify, you can prepare the required setout, and its collection schedule works for you.
Ask PVJR about private removal for items still inside, a mixed cleanout or a property handoff that needs coordination. Share your deadline so we can check availability.
City and provider rules apply to their programs. PVJR’s material and access requirements are separate: an item excluded by the city is not automatically accepted by PVJR.
Contact your provider, or plan a county self-delivery
Cave Creek residents choose a private garbage provider. The Town lists Area Disposal at 480-515-4300, Republic Services at 602-237-2078 and WM at 602-268-2222. Call the company on your account about bulky items, a collection date and preparation. These contacts do not establish one townwide furniture-pickup schedule.
For self-delivery, the Cave Creek Transfer Station is at 3955 E. Carefree Highway, open Wednesday–Saturday, 7 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; call 602-722-1908. County services are available to Maricopa County residents. Furniture and mattresses are listed, with charges; use a debit or credit card.
Loose bulk green waste is accepted there only during designated quarterly events. Bagged or bundled green waste is accepted year-round. Confirm the pile’s preparation and event date before loading yard material.[1][2][3]
Show which parts of the property need clearing
For a private removal request, identify the street address and the exact collection area. If the work involves a gate, a longer driveway or limited turning space, send those details for review. Those conditions need checking for the individual property before a vehicle or crew is committed.
- Are you removing household contents, stored outdoor items or a separate yard pile?
- Where can loading take place without blocking access?
- What stays, and who is authorized to release the rest?
Paint needs a separate receiving arrangement
Keep coating cans out of the Cave Creek station’s green-waste load. The County lists 602-276-7602 for fee-based paint-disposal enquiries; confirm acceptance before transport.
Have the labels, estimated remaining gallons and container condition ready. Ask whether the receiver accepts a resident delivery or a third-party delivery, and keep paint apart from the yard and household loads. Do not assume PVJR can collect it with ordinary junk.[4]
What to include in your request
- The complete address and item list, with belongings to keep clearly identified.
- Where the items are and the route to the loading point.
- Any access window, property deadline and authorized contact.
Photos are optional to start. We may ask for them or more detail to assess the job.
Items that need separate review
Connected appliances, heavy materials and unusual items need individual review. Removal does not include utility disconnection, demolition, repairs or property cleaning. Hazardous and biohazardous materials are not accepted.
