Junk removal requests in Carefree
Pickup availability in Carefree needs confirmation. Send your exact address, the items to remove and whether they are outside or need carrying out. We’ll review the location, access and route before arranging a pickup. The local collection guidance below can help you compare your options.

Planning a furniture pickup or cleanout
Tell us about furniture, mattresses, household appliances, garage contents, storage or move-out cleanouts. For rental or business contents, identify the spaces to clear and the person authorized to approve removal.
Which removal option fits?
Your city or trash provider may fit when your account and items qualify, you can prepare the required setout, and its collection schedule works for you.
Ask PVJR about private removal for items still inside, a mixed cleanout or a property handoff that needs coordination. Share your deadline so we can check availability.
City and provider rules apply to their programs. PVJR’s material and access requirements are separate: an item excluded by the city is not automatically accepted by PVJR.
Ask WM about the items on your Carefree account
Carefree identifies Waste Management as its residential trash and recycling provider. For a large item, use WM’s bulk-pickup address lookup to check availability and price for your account. WM lists furniture, mattresses, box springs, bed frames and cabinets as common bulky items, but acceptance varies by location; the lookup must confirm your load.
Ask whether collection requires a separate booking, how the item should be prepared and where it must be staged. Do not put furniture beside a regular cart without that arrangement. If you can deliver household items yourself, the county’s Cave Creek Transfer Station is at 3955 E. Carefree Highway; call 602-722-1908 about the proposed load before going.[1][2][3]
Describe the work beyond the collection point
If you need a private removal option, explain whether the items are inside the home, in a garage or elsewhere on the property. Ask for address coverage first, then give the carrying route and the space available for loading. Share any gate instructions privately when a pickup is agreed.
- Will someone be there to identify the items to remove?
- Are any large pieces too wide for the available doorway?
- Is there a deadline or a restriction on when a truck can enter?
Keep leftover paint out of the transfer-station load
County transfer stations are not a liquid-paint destination. For fee-based paint-disposal enquiries, the County lists 602-276-7602. Confirm the product, amount and receiving terms before travel.
Keep the cans separate from furniture and identify them in any private removal enquiry. Do not mix coatings, pour them away or assume that drying instructions for one paint type apply to every product. A paint referral is not confirmation of PVJR acceptance.[4]
What to include in your request
- The complete address and item list, with belongings to keep clearly identified.
- Where the items are and the route to the loading point.
- Any access window, property deadline and authorized contact.
Photos are optional to start. We may ask for them or more detail to assess the job.
Items that need separate review
Connected appliances, heavy materials and unusual items need individual review. Removal does not include utility disconnection, demolition, repairs or property cleaning. Hazardous and biohazardous materials are not accepted.
